College Scholarships

Each year the Oneida Health Foundation aims to award over $30,000  in scholarships for college, certification, and high school scholarships, for young adults entering the healthcare sector. These scholarships are given in memory of Greta B. Sanderson, a valued volunteer of Oneida Health.

Employee scholarships are intended to assist our dedicated workers in pursuing further education, encourage personal development, and ensure that they continue to thrive in their respective fields. Based on specific criteria developed based on the community health assessment, needs within the hospital system, and improving education for current healthcare workers, nursing, and medical professionals, nurses and all allied health professionals are given consideration for the scholarships. The Oneida Health Foundation and its Board are of the opinion that by continuing to fund educational opportunities, healthcare professionals will be elevated, given more options for career advancement, and will benefit people and families in our neighborhood in the long run.
