Giving Tree

The Oneida Health Giving Tree helps our own Oneida Health team members who may be in need during the holidays. This year, the program was able to provide small gifts and food support for 22 families and their children. Members of the community sponsored a child by providing them with a book, a pair of pajamas, a hoodie, or small gifts. Those in need also received groceries to help them prepare their holiday meal. Community members who were unable to shop for gifts chose to donate money to the cause so that these items could be purchased for the families. The community members’ generosity allowed the families to have a memorable holiday season.

Next year, we hope to have additional community and corporate support for this initiative. We expect the need to more than double next year. The community members’ generosity not only brought joy to the families in need but also created a sense of unity and compassion within the community. The success of this initiative has inspired us to strive for even greater support next year, as we anticipate the need for assistance to significantly increase. With additional community and corporate backing, we can make an even bigger impact and ensure that every family in need receives the help they deserve during the holiday season.
