Providing Financial Relief for Breast Cancer Patients

  • The Oneida Health Breast Cancer Fund was developed to help breast cancer patients with immediate needs and to bridge the gap between needing help and receiving help from Cancer Connects and other assistance programs.

  • The Breast Cancer Fund provides rapid assistance for essential needs such as  transportation, groceries, and medical co-pays and expenses during treatment and recovery.

  • Through the Oneida Health Breast Cancer Fund, beneficiaries can access supportive practical resources, and connections to community partners that help address urgent financial and logistical barriers.

  • The program emphasizes timely, compassionate support designed to reduce barriers to accessing care and to improve quality of life for individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment.

  • The Oneida Health Breast Cancer Fund operates in collaboration with our healthcare team, and patient navigators to ensure funds reach patients quickly and effectively.

  • Eligibility criteria focus on demonstrated need and demonstrated financial hardship related to breast cancer treatment, with a streamlined application process to minimize delays. Patients should speak directly to their care team to ask for assistance from the Oneida Health Foundation.
