CNY Mom Prom Returns in Style, Raising Over $10,000 for Local Cancer Care
Oneida, NY (June 16, 2026) —After a seven-year hiatus, the beloved CNY Mom Prom made a triumphant return, bringing together more than 200 women for an unforgettable evening of dancing, laughter, and community impact.
The event, affectionately known as “Mom’s Night Out,” raised an impressive $10,205.38 in support of the Oneida Health Cancer Care Fund, benefiting local patients right here in the community.

Hosted in partnership with the Oneida Health Foundation, the event was spearheaded by the CNY Mom Prom founders Allison Ingmire, Monica Walts, and Lori Sherwood, whose vision once again brought women together for a meaningful cause.
“After seven years, the energy in the room felt like there was never a pause,” said the founders. “The support, connection, and care we experienced were exactly what we remembered and so much more.”
The funds raised will directly support cancer patients receiving care locally, helping ease the financial burden during treatment and ensuring access to vital services close to home.
The evening celebrated not only fundraising success but also the strength and compassion of the community. Attendees embraced the spirit of Mom Prom—glamorous attire, joyful celebration, and giving back—making the night a truly memorable comeback.
